Voice, Strength & Beauty:

Chicks On Bikes Radio

In the spring of 2011 I started producing the Chicks On Bikes Radio show (COBR). I am using the interview process and recordings in order to empower more women to ride bikes. My name is April Lemly, and my personal mission is: I am an artist, an athlete and an activist ~ making the world a better place. Over the past year I have been inspired by extraordinary women learning to ride or coming back to ride… I want to tell their stories. All shows plus additional interviews are on the COBR website. In October we will have shows on iTunes.

The shows range in theme; a few are “People I Admire” to “Art”. I try to focus on celebrating all types of cycling as well, there is no particular angle that is stronger (such as: racing or commuting) I like to cover all aspects of riding.

  • The September show: Art & Interbike – A Mash Up. We talk to: Alexis Finch Of Thought You Knew Pin Ups. Charles Youel of ArtCrank and Robin Bylenga of Pedal Chic.
  • The October show: Cool Products.

Listen to all of the archived shows here.
